Privacy Policy — Woon
Woon is a music player that runs on your device. It does not have accounts, does not ask who you are, and does not send your listening to us. This page explains that in full.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. Woon has no sign-up, no login, no email field, no advertising network and no analytics or tracking service of any kind. We do not receive your name, your contacts, your location, your device identifiers or any record of what you listen to.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your playlists and your settings are stored on your device. If you leave iCloud switched on, Apple also keeps a copy in your own private iCloud so the same playlists appear on your other Apple devices. That copy belongs to your Apple ID and is handled by Apple; we cannot see it, and there is nothing for us to see. Turning iCloud off for Woon in iOS Settings keeps everything on the one device.
YOUR MUSIC
Music you choose to open stays where you put it. Woon does not upload your library anywhere. If you use the optional Woon Lab companion on your own Mac, audio travels only between your devices on your own local network — never to us, and never to the internet.
NETWORK REQUESTS WOON MAKES
Woon asks Apple's public App Store service whether a newer version of the app exists, and may fetch a small version file from our website for the same reason. These requests carry no personal information and nothing about them is stored. As with any internet request, the receiving server sees the IP address your connection uses; we keep no such logs tied to you and use them for nothing.
CHILDREN
Woon is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
CHANGES
If a future version of Woon ever collects anything, this page will say so clearly before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
